We have successfully migrated to a new, more robust card infrastructure. Here is everything you need to know about your upgraded card experience.
💳 Key Changes: Visa & USD
New Payment Network: Your new cards are now powered by Visa (replacing the previous Mastercard).
Card Currency is USD: To ensure the fastest possible relaunch, all new cards are issued in USD. While we plan to reintroduce EUR cards in the future, USD is currently the primary currency.
Old Cards: Your previous cards are now permanently inactive.
💰 Funding & Spending
Top-up via USDC Only: Currently, you can top up your card exclusively using USDC. Support for other assets like BTC or ETH will be added soon.
1:1 Conversion: When you top up, 1 USDC equals $1 on your card balance.
Spending in any currency: Visa and the provider may apply a payment fee for any transaction, except payments in USD.
Balance Transfers: If you had a remaining balance on your old card, it can be transferred to your new one within 48 hours after activation. Please note that this process can take longer as there are many requests for such transfers.
🛡️ Verification (KYC & PoA)
To comply with our new provider's security standards, all users must complete a quick verification update:
Proof of Address (PoA) is Mandatory: You must provide a document verifying your residence (e.g., a bank statement).
For Ukrainian Citizens: Bank statements from Ukrainian banks (like Monobank or Privat24) are fully accepted - but please try to upload them in English language.
KYC Update: In some cases, you may need to refresh your identity documents.
📊 Limits & Features
High Limits: The default maximum limit is $30,000. However, individual limits can be increased upon request through our partner.
Refunds: Yes, your new card fully supports merchant refunds.
Withdrawals: You can withdraw funds from your card back to your Utorg crypto wallet.
🛠️ How to Issue Your New Card
Check Your Email: You will receive an official invitation with a link to the activation form (as cards are issued in several iterations, you may receive an email within 1-3 days). In case of any difficulties please contact support.
Complete the Form: If your previous KYC is still valid, your data will be transferred automatically. If not, you will be prompted to update it via SumSub.
Liveness Check: Prove your identity via liveness check procedure.
Submit PoA: Upload your proof of address directly in the KYC web flow. No manual uploads via chat are required.
Instant Issuance: Once your PoA is verified, your new USD Visa card will appear in your Utorg app within 5–10 minutes. If there are any issues, you can contact us via the Chat in the Utorg app.
