With Multiwallets, you can remove a wallet you no longer need from the Utorg app.
Deleting a wallet removes it and its recovery phrase from your device. However, your crypto assets remain on the blockchain, and your card balance is not affected.
Step-by-step guide
Open the Utorg app and select the wallet you want to delete from your wallet list.
Go to Wallet settings and tap Delete (or Remove wallet).
Read the warning carefully. Before proceeding, make sure you understand that:
Your wallet and its recovery phrase will be removed from your device.
Your crypto assets will remain on the blockchain.
Without your recovery phrase or another valid backup, you won't be able to restore access to your wallet or its funds.
Confirm the deletion using your PIN or biometric authentication.
Once confirmed, the wallet will be removed from your wallet list.
Important: Before deleting a wallet, make sure you've securely backed up its recovery phrase. Without it or another valid backup, you may permanently lose access to your funds.
What happens after deleting a wallet?
The result depends on whether the deleted wallet was active and how many wallets you have remaining.
If you delete an inactive wallet: Your currently active wallet remains unchanged.
If you delete your active wallet: Another wallet from your wallet list will automatically become active.
If you delete your last remaining wallet: You'll be taken to the Create or import a wallet screen. Your card will continue to work as usual, but its details won't be visible in the app until you add a wallet again.
Can I recover a deleted wallet?
Yes. Deleting a wallet from the Utorg app does not permanently delete it from the blockchain. You can restore access to your wallet at any time by importing it using its original recovery phrase or a valid backup.
For detailed instructions, see How to import an existing wallet.
